Graduate Students

Dr. Wang is willing to accept Ph.D. students for the 2027-2028 academic year. You are welcome to contact her at jwang@seis.ucla.edu with your research interests and CV attachment. Dr. Wang is happy to chat about fit before you apply.

Master's students are always considered if they are highly motivated in education and skilled in psychology or fMRI research. As masters are usually still thinking about their research interests, there is no need to contact Dr. Wang to chat about the exact research fit. Your application materials will be the primary source I consider for admission. A strong candidate is someone with a good academic performance, research or teaching experiences, and a clear motivation to study with me and at the UCLA Department of Education.
